Oh Sally!!!

So as I said a couple posts ago our septic tank is broken! So we finally were able to find someone we trusted to come out and fix it!We have had several people out here, along with the health department! Anyway, this morning we woke up to a dump truck and two pickup trucks on our beautiful grass! I was still in my PJ's!;) They are going to have to replace the whole tank and have said we need to put in all new lines! I don't think we have to put in all new lines, they just suggested it. (I'm not really sure, I do know that if we have to add all new lines it will cost a lot more then it already does! Oh sally!) Anyway, I know they have to put in one new line for sure and to do this they have to break our fence and chop down some of our trees!! Molly and I did not know this and we are on the porch talking when all of the sudden are wonderful tree went splat!! Both of our mouths were hanging open! We were both like, the septic people just took down our tree!! It really was quite funny. :)

So our fence starts at the green gate. The tree that is pictured was outside our fence. The pile of dirt is from digging up the tank! Are field that was just mowed is now covered with a tree, a pile of rocks, and dirt!

Also today we have the trouble shooters at the news channel come out and do an interview of my Dad.We have been having some trouble with the Embarq and Dish people about Granddad's cable TV. (Just his TV has cable.) So everyone watch it on Friday at 5:50 on channel 11, my Dad and Granddad will be on TV!!

Sarah is home from the beach and will be coming over tonight! So hopefully I will post pictures sometime this week from the wedding!

Yesterday...

I was going to post, but I was busy going through my Dad's pictures looking for North Carolina Farms, Churches, fall leaves and other pictures from North Carolina. It took me a long time to go through, not only because there were lots of slides, but I had to make sure I got all of the North Carolina pictures.

I Have Learned So Much!

Since my Grandparents have moved in, I have learned SO much! My grandmother is suffering from Alzheimer's, she can no longer cook, clean, get dress, give her self a bath, or call people on the phone without help. (She can get dress without help, but it won't be on right or it will be like both legs in one paints leg!) It's very sad! I did not realize when they moved in, how much help she would need, I don't think any of us did. I can't really explain what it's like! You really won't understand, unless you have/take care of someone with Alzheimer's or a child with special needs.

Most of y'all know that I help kids with their violin on Saturday moorings from August - April. This has taut me so much! Since a lot of the kids are from China, they don't know English. I never knew it would be so hard to communicate with someone who did not speak English! It's very hard! From helping kids like this and others I have learned to work on having patience, which is something I think everyone has to work on.

When my Grandparents moved in, I thought I had patience! I thought if I could help a child that could not speak English then I could help someone with Alzheimer's! I was wrong! Right now my Grandmother can't get her self dress and it's SO hard to! Since she thinks she can!(She does ask for help at times.) Today I was giving her a bath (This is the hardest thing to do with her!!) I unbuttoned her shirts and was going to let her take is off, when she started buttoning it all the way up again. Then she wanted to get in the tub with her underwear still on. It's times like these that it's hard to say something! I don't want her to feel like I'm making fun of her or that she feels dumb. I just want to look at her times and go why don't you understand? I'm speaking English, but it's like I'm speaking Spanish!
I feel like I'm not doing enough to make her understand me, but I don't know any other why? I am talking very slow and using small words when I talk to her, but I end up repeating things more then once. At times it's very frustration.!I know in all of this God is trying to teach me a lesson. If not patience, them understanding how much elderly people need help! God has also showed me through having my Grandparents movie in, is that I would make a great nurse!(Not to be vain!) I just love everything about it, except the school part!:) I don't really want to go to school for two years, I want to get married! So that kinda shut that door, until I found out about CNA! This is something I could do! It's only like a 6 - 12 week class which is great! It will also teach me stuff that I could use when I am married and have kids The only problem with this, is that I have to graduate! Which I can't do for a year. I was going to wait until I was 19 to graduate, now I am not sure I what to do that!
So I have decided to give it all to God!
He has a wonderful plan for me and I know his plan is the best!!

Basically what I was trying to say in this post, is that I never knew last year that I would have learned so much from having my Grandparents move in and that God would work in my life the way he did!
At times they maybe very hard with having my Grandmother around and I may get very frustrated, but I love her and would not want her to be anywhere else!!!!

(I have decided to not post pictures, so that Sarah & Micheal have a chance to look over then before y'all do.)

Wedding Day!

On Saturday my sister Sarah got married!
Everything went so wonderful and we are so thankful we everyone who helped! Even if all you did was help us eat cookies, that's one less cookies we will have to eat!:)
It was great to see our old friends and make new friends!

Here is how yesterday played out for me:

5:30 - got up
6:00 - shower
6:30 start making muffins
7:00 tuned on Sovereign music and cleaned the kitchen/packed boxes to take to the church and got grandmother breakfast
7:30 - someone turned off our music and turned on the song Then and the song 1234! I went to clean my grandparents room
8:00 bring all the clothes/shoes/and boxes down to the door
8:30 did random stuff I don't remember!:)
9:30 William,Jenn,Molly and I left in our car. Sam,Molly and me were all cramped in the back with random stuff for the wedding. On the way there I slept, until Sam stabbed me with his elbow(not on purpose!)*I did have not a porpoise, because Sam was spell checking my post and thought that saying not a porpoise sounded better!* then I woke up and read my Bible.
10:45 - got to Church
11:00 - 1:55
ate muffins/got dress/got my hair done/makeup done/brushed my teeth/took LOTS of pictures/ helped unload our car and others.
1:55- all the bridesmaids left the our dressing room and started walking to the sanctuary.
2:00 - all lined up and ready to walk down!!
3:00 - wedding is over and we start pictures
3:45 - pictures are done and we start walking over to the fellowship hall.
5:00 Mr. and Mrs. Michael Garner left for their Honeymoon!
After they left I changed my clothes and everyone started cleaning up!
(Thanks for everyone who stayed and helped!!)
6:30 - we had just left the church and started on the way home
7:30 - got home and started making dinner. I was SO shaky!! All I had eaten was muffins and cookies!!

We went to bed around 12 and I got up this morning at 6:30, so I could help my Mom before Church.
We have bags of cookies left over and I am already sick of them!

Pictures will be coming in the next couple days! I am going to wait until until I can make a wed album, so I don't have to post over and over again.

Just think in in just four months we are going to have to do this all over again! This time with William!;)

*I am changing my blog layout soon, I am going for a pink layout because the picture I am going to use looks good with a pink background. What I need to know is which layout y'all like best. (I really like the first one, since it has my blog name!)
