Yesterday, we found out a good friend Josiah Crumpler gave his life for our country during a firefight in Afghanistan on Monday, serving God and the country he loved. Josiah was a paratrooper with the 82nd AA division. Josiah leaves behind a wife, Shana, of 3 weeks prior to deployment and 2 stepchildren.
If you could please pray for his parents: Dennis and Pam Crumpler, his wife Shana and their two kids Hannah and Seth. Also, please pray for safe travailing for everyone including my Dad and a friend who is flying in from NY today, both of them along with the family, are driving to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.

The crumplers were family friends of ours as well. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the patriot guard riders, but they're a national group of motorcyclists who oftentimes attend the services of fallen soldiers out of respect. They posted a forum topic on Josiah today...check it out. It's touching to see people who didn't even know him showing him honor.
