Worship Matters

I just started a book today called Worship Matters by Bob Kauflin. 

So far I have really enjoyed reading it! I wanted to share with you a few quotes that stuck out to me:

1.  Worship isn't just an opportunity to use my (your) musical gifts. It's more then a heightened emotional experience or a way to make a living (worship leader).It's way more then what we do on Sunday morning. Worship is about what we love and what we live for. It's about who we are before God.

2. Worship matters. It matters to God because He is the one ultimately worthy of all worship. It matters to us because worshiping God is the reason for which we were created.

3. We'll never impress God with out musical expertise or sophistication. What impresses God is a broken and contrite heart that recognizes our weakness and puts our faith in the finished work of Christ.

4. God wants us to realize that that point of out practice isn't to receive the praise of others. It's to bring Him glory.

5.The goal of practicing isn't doing something until you get it right. It's doing it until you can't get it wrong.

My Super bowl party!:)

So yesterday was the super bowl..and my beloved Colts did not make it....:(

I don't really watch football..mainly because I don't understand it, but I do love the Indianapolis Colts!

My cousin had a Super Bowl party at his house..which Molly and Nick went too...I think he is going to post pictures on his blog... I thought about going..but then it hit me that I would be the only girl watching the game..and since Mr and Mrs. Page, their little boy and my cousin Andrew was coming over, I decided to stay and play with the little boys. So that my parents would get some time to visit with the Pages.

Today, my Mom was cleaning the little boys room with them and Molly was cleaning her room, so I decided to go clean my room!;)

I started on my closet cause that is what was the messiest! You see, the close I ware that I hang up always seem to land in the bottom of my closet and not hanging up!;)

Snow!!:)

On Friday night our family set up and waited for the snow. Once it started falling, we turned off all the lights in our den and with the glow of the fire watched it fall. It was SO beautiful!!:)

Saturday morning we woke up to I would say between 7-8 inches.
